The Canadian Women in Energy organization began with connecting women in our industry to further professional development and growth in the oil, gas, and energy sector.  This idea was brought to life through the various networks of each member of the group.  There was demand for a more consistent schedule for these presentations and thus our Director of Technical Education was created on the CWiE Board of Directors.  Topics for our presentations vary, but they consistently focus on our professional industry, covering areas such as new and emerging technologies, insights into life in the energy sector, market updates, and beyond. Currently, we host our in-person Technical Sessions every third Thursday of the month at 3:30 PM which are exclusive to CWiE standing members and prospective members only.
